10 Sep The Great Reno Balloon Race
The Great Reno Balloon Race is the largest hot air ballooning event in the country with no admission charge for entry to its lift-off field, where spectators can mingle freely with the balloon pilots and crews. Held the weekend following Labor Day each September, the event began in 1982 with only 20 balloons. Now there are more than 100 balloons each year. This panorama was made on September 9, 2012.
