26 Aug Trego Ditch
Trego Hot Springs, or the Trego Ditch, was dug to channel water away from the nearby railroad tracks. The ditch has created a unique wetland micro ecosystem in this otherwise parched shoulder of the Playa, with fish, frogs, birds, and other wildlife enjoying the wet habitat as the temperature slowly cools from its source pool.
