Archaeologists recovered pieces of a carbon water filter from excavations on the site of Piper’s Old Corner Bar, adjacent to Piper’s Opera House. The cribbage board and the carved pipe bowl were also discovered there. Piper’s Opera House may be explored here.
The other objects were found in the excavation of the old Boston Saloon, which was located to the rear of today’s Bucket of Blood Saloon.
